Greeted promptly by Dan and a cut out of the late Queen. Fun vibe, wildly good fish and chips. Absolutely fresh, the sides are excellent and the sauces are bright and exciting. Dan is an exceptional server, very knowledgeable and ready to let it show. He informed me of what makes each element unique without forcing it or sounding scripted. I used to be a server trainer years ago, Dan is an excellent representative of your brand.

I ordered the fish and chips it's authentic down to the newspaper its served on. The fish was perfectly cooked, flaky and tender. The batter was the perfect thickness of coating, and seasoned perfectly. They also have a delicious sour on draft, not to many places carry them so was happy to hear they had one.

I’ve been wanting to try this place since they’ve opened. Never could find the time, but on a Wednesday night pre-comedy show I dragged my friends along. Time was of the essence and everyone was so accommodating. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating to my unrealistic time crunch. Old Specled Hen, on point. Sausage rolls and scotch egg shouldn’t be missed. The true selling point is the warmth of hospitality. Thank you so very much Erin and Sam!!!!!

Once upon a time, I was lost. Struggling to find my way in this cruel world. Drifting from one place to another, both literally and figuratively. My light was fading... And then, like a phoenix rising from the ashes of my burnt soul, I stumbled upon Audacity. The yorkshire pudding, fish and chips, and curry chicken salad, downed with a Belhaven fresh from the tap....I had found my way once again.
